Dates to Remember

July 12--Champs for 13-up and 11-12 boys at Hilliard
Warmups are from 8:10-8:35 a.m. in lanes 3 & 4--Please be at the pool by 8:00 a.m.

July 13--Champs for 10-unders and 11-12 girls at Liberty Powell
Warmups are from 10:10-10:35 a.m. in lane 7--Please be at the pool by 10:00 a.m.

July 21--LYST Summer Swim Banquet
Fat Cat’s Pizzeria Banquet Room
1448 W. Point Road, Lancaster (located near WalMart)
6:00 p.m.
We are asking for those families:
Last Names A-M - to bring snacks
Last Names N-Z - to bring desserts

Look on the Bulletin Board for the sign-up sheets for any USA and invitational swim meets.
Payments for the events go in the payment box as usual. 
Let the coaches know if you cannot attend a regular Y meet.

       Special Announcements   

13 and up practice time for this week only (June 30, July 2 and 3) is from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Weightlifting will be from 5:00-5:30 p.m.

Our competitive swimming program is for children 5-18.  All participants must be Family Y members and compete in the Southeast Ohio/West Virginia YMCA Cluster.  During home swim meets it is necessary to close both Fulton Gymnasium and Wendel Pool.  Pool closings (due to home meets) will be posted.

 All new and returning members and parents of the team are required to attend the fall organization meeting at
the Y.  The fall organization meeting will be on Sunday, August 26 starting at 1:00 pm.  Parents will be able to register their swimmers for the season at this meeting, for a cost of $25.00 per swimmer. It is in your best interest to make every effort to attend this meeting if you plan on participating in the Y swim team.
