Jim discussed Champs pre-order shirts.  An order sheet will be put on the bulletin board for sign ups.  The Champs shirts from the league do carry a cost and must be pre-order by Feb 10, 2006.  Discussion on Zone gifts…possibly towels and gifts for National Qualifiers and Seniors was briefly discussed. Jim will send out a mass e-mail about the shirts and Pasta party.  Stacy was asked to contact the trophy man and see if he could attend the next parents meeting to discuss team trophies. Zone caps will be ordered by Jim through Greenhouse the same as last year in the quantity of 25 to add to the 15 left over from last year.

Ryan H.  presented picture buttons and magnets from Chris Hawks.  Ryan said that Chris H would refund the money to parents who purchased buttons and would redo them for free. The picture/buttons and magnet buttons remain in the office for pick-up. Ryan will put up a sign up sheet for Big/Littles this eek

Coach Kevin gave a review of Sprints Invit.  We came in second place.  He also talked about the US swim meet at Worthington.  He will not be at this weeks Y meet against Liberty do to OCC high school swim meet.  Ryan will be the coach on deck this Saturday.  Kevin believes as many as 36 swimmers could make zones. He will be at next weeks US swim meeting.

Issues regarding volunteer changes were discussed.  Jim recommended the development of a credit/cost program.  Jim also discussed the need to develop and or modify existing committee’s for future team benefit.  Tammy Burtons name was mentioned as a possible replacement for our current web page designer.  Jim stated that there will likely be officer positions needing to be filled at the end of the season.  A committee to address volunteering will be formed at the end of the season to discuss appropriate changes for next year.

A recommendation was submitted by Jim from Marianne H. about changing the team banquet to the Wilson building from the Moose Lodge.  The cost is $150.00.  A motion was made to call and reserve the building for March 26, 2006 at 3:00 PM by Jon and seconded by Sue.  The motion passed. Jim will call to see if March 26, 2006 is available.  If so then Jim will call to cancel Moose Lodge reservation.

Discussion about the last home meet regarding timers was made.  There will be an attempt to have only one set of timers and eliminate the concept of first and second half timers.  Chairs could be added to the lanes for allowing rest during long events. A job duty sign up poster for the next home meet will be placed on the bb in the near future.

Next meeting date was set for Feb 7, 2005.  A US swim meeting will be held next Wed Feb 1st at 5:30
