LYST Invitational Info

The The 10th Annual LYST Invitational was the largest on record.
We had a meet record of 9 combined heats of the 500 free!
The LYST Steering Committee would like to congratulate all of the swimmers for a job well done!
There were 56 meet records broken (11 relays and 45 individual events)

We look forward to another successful Invitational next year
and, as always, will continue to look for ways to improve the meet.
We would also like to thank all those volunteers, including the officials and timers from other teams,
that helped make the LYST Invitational a huge success.
A special thanks to Dan and Jim from Liberty Powell who helped with announcing on Saturday
and Jon for his assistance on Sunday.

Dec. 26--Deadline to sign up for JB Chambers Senior Event Invitational on 1/11

Look on the Bulletin Board for the sign-up sheets for any USA and invitational swim meets.
Payments for the events go in the payment box as usual. 
Let the coaches know if you cannot attend a regular Y meet.

Our competitive swimming program is for children 5-18.  All participants must be Family Y members and compete in the Southeast Ohio/West Virginia YMCA Cluster.  During home swim meets it is necessary to close both Fulton Gymnasium and Wendel Pool.  Pool closings (due to home meets) will be posted.

 All new and returning members and parents of the team are required to attend the fall organization meeting at
the Y.  The fall organization meeting will be on Sunday, August 26 starting at 1:00 pm.  Parents will be able to register their swimmers for the season at this meeting, for a cost of $25.00 per swimmer. It is in your best interest to make every effort to attend this meeting if you plan on participating in the Y swim team.
