Attendance: Trisha Clifford-Sprouse, Mindy Wilkison, Lori Parrish, Tammy Burton, Beth Daugherty, Kim Crawford, Diana Spurgus, Brian Serafy, Kim Serafy, Sue Johnson, Suzanne, Young, Tammy ?, Marian Henderson, Steve and Michelle Carper, Sherry Gibson.

Meeting called to order by: Jim DePietro President

Financial Report given by: Jim DePietro, Norah Ginty Absent but reported at the last meeting. Approximately $10,000 in the account with approximately $2,000 outstanding bills

Home Meet Review

• A first home meet is this Saturday with Liberty Powell.
• b They are reportedly bringing about 60 swimmers.
• C 12:00 noon warm-ups

Volunteer Report

• We are in need of a new monitor for the volunteer jobs. Unfortunately, Amy Vandervort will not be back this year and Cindy will not be present at the first meet. Each department head will keep tally of their workers
• Department Heads will have a special badge so people can identify them quickly
• Tammy Burton and Mary went to a timing seminar so that all swim teams in the league will be taking times the same way.
• We have 3 people for the bull pen and will need a runner for Saturday
• Invitational Credits have not yet been determined
• It takes approximately 36 – 38 people to run a home swim meet
• We have at least 15 officials on our team alone compared to 1 or 2 for most teams
• Request was made by President DePietro for someone to volunteer to organize the swim closet and take inventory. Trisha Clifford-Sprouse volunteered and will do so tomorrow.
• Sunday is an officiating clinic from 1 – 4
• It was suggested to purchase a food tray and drinks for the clinic buy Jim DePietro. Sue Johnson motioned that the parent committee purchase a food tray and drinks. Trisha Clifford-Sprouse 2^nd the motion. Those in attendance made a unanimous vote. Jim DePietro will purchase the food tray and drinks and bring them to the clinic.

Swim Meets upcoming:

• The Home Swim meet on January 27 has been cancelled. The October 28^th meet is still uncertain.

Apparel: Suzanne Young

• The screen printing should be done before Saturdays meet but the embroidered items will not be. Team apparel can still be ordered and Suzanne hopes to have some size samples at the meet Saturday.
• Next apparel deadline will be October 22. Apparel ordered by then will arrive for the invitational.
• Officials whites will be here by the invitational
• All money for orders is to be placed in an envelope and in the payment box.
• Suzanne asked that we think about our High Point Awards for this years invitational. We had towel last year and would like to consider bags for this year.

Coaches Report given by: CoachKevin Yates

• Have to date about 120 swimmers and this is well spread out across the age groups.
• Currently, the team is working a lot on strokes.
• Conditioning was successful.
• Sunday practices will begin this week from 1 – 3
• New practices that are to be completed by swimmers
• Swimmers are to talk to Kevin or one of the other coaches after they complete their race
• Don’t leave a meet until the end. If you need to leave early, don’t do so until you talk to Kevin
• Swimmers are to stay in the water until all swimmers complete the race. At that time swimmers are to shake hands with swimmers in neighboring lanes.
